Social Media.

I have a confession to make. I’m a doula that doesn’t do social media! I know it can be important for people to be able to check out their potential doula on social media, so you deserve an explanation:

• Reason #1

  There are many amazing birth workers absolutely nailing social media to improve the experiences of people having babies. I don’t feel the need to add to that.

• Reason #2

  I’m not very good at using it. For this reason I made a decision long ago to focus the time and energy that I would otherwise have to spend on learning how to build a social media presence on continuously improving my knowledge around all things birth related, particularly where IVF and assisted conception are concerned, so that I can provide more and more specialised care for my clients.

• Reason #3

  Some of my clients want and need high levels of privacy. Avoiding social media is one way to keep my work extremely private.
